Another fun and joyful day!!! Especially for the birthday kids!!
Today we're celebrating my nephew's 4th birthday and his little sister's 2nd birthday :). Well yeah, time sure does fly! It felt like it was yesterday that both of them were born, and now they're turning into 2 cute big kids with awesome attitudes, LOL.
For their birthday, I had some little surprises for them; I thought it would be nice if I ordered their cake with their favorite cartoon characters; Cars and Princess :).
It was also not an easy thing to do, knowing that I wanted the surprise to be perfect! So, I ordered the cake like 2 months before their birthday X_X ( juuuuusstttt to make sure that the cake maker knew the precise theme and also colors and get their names right!). Also...to prepare on the budget :D.
I did a bit of research on the internet about the cakes that we wanted and we actually fell in love with 2 themes that we thought were pretty simple and also beautiful at the same time, and I believed that the kids will love them :). So I ordered the cakes from ChocolatyCakes, they have the blog also :). And they were able to send the cakes in the morning before the birthday party.
And by the way, it wasn't a huge party after all! It was just a family gathering and a fun place to meet p with your loved ones :).
